Big Five · Great Migration

Overview
Kenya's most famous reserve needs little introduction: rolling savannah, extraordinary big-cat sightings and, between July and October, the thunder of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Three days gives you two full mornings and evenings at the best game-viewing hours — enough time for the Mara to work its magic.
Best time: July–October for the Migration; excellent big-cat viewing all year.
Itinerary
Morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel and a scenic drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment (photo stop included). Arrive in time for lunch at tented camp then head straight out on your first afternoon game drive.
Sunrise to sunset with the wildlife: lion, cheetah, elephant, giraffe and — in season — migration river crossings at the Mara River. Packed picnic lunch in the bush and an optional visit to a Maasai village.
Breakfast at camp then the return drive to Nairobi with hotel or airport drop-off by late afternoon.

Questions
The herds are usually in the Mara between July and October, but nature keeps its own calendar. Outside those months the resident wildlife — including all the big cats — is still outstanding.
Plan for roughly 5–6 hours each way with scenic stops. Ask us about flying options if you are short on time.
Absolutely — an extra Maasai Mara night, Lake Nakuru or Naivasha combine beautifully. Tell us in the form and we will quote it.
